༺‿༻༺‿✿ڰۣڿ✿ FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER CHERISHED✿ڰۣڿ✿ ༺‿༻༺‿༻

I am currently working on updating Perry Mount Park Cemetery: Pontiac, Michigan and Mount Hope Cemetery: Pontiac, Michigan with as much verifiable data as I can. I use several different sources to verify the information; including Death Records, Indexes, Cemetery Records, Marriage Records, Ancestry, and many others. I also frequently visit the cemetery and have been trying to obtain as many photos as I can.

My roots run deep in the Pontiac/Waterford area, and my hope is to not let a fellow citizens soul to be forgotten. I contribute to Find A Grave by creating, researching, cross-referencing, photographing and transcribing headstones. It's a lot of work, but it is definitely a labor of love and the most rewarding hobby I can think of.

I have also inherited several memorials from fallen gravers and am working diligently to update them with as much information as I can.

Please note that this is an ongoing project and I am diligently working on trying to obtain or fill in any missing information.

༺♥༻ ABOUT ME༺♥༻
I have been doing family history on my own since 2010; however, I learned from the best (My Mother). I have spent almost my entire childhood visiting libraries, cemeteries and other historical sites with her to bring life back to our past ancestors.

In 2010 she passed the torch to me and requested that I become our family historian, curator and collector of memories. I take my responsibilities very serious and it means everything to me as it's my way of ensuring the ones we loved are never forgotten and their legacy lives on.

I am a member of the Oakland County Genealogical Society.

I am connected to quite a few of the memorials that I manage; however there are many that I am not; nevertheless, I take pride in honoring and preserving their memory in the smallest way I can. I believe that you don't have to know someone to respect their existence and honor the mark they left while here on earth.

It's my hope that by preserving memorial information here on Find A Grave that it will help a loved one in the future to find that missing link they are searching for or just to have a place to honor them and visit their virtual resting place.

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time,
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.

Lord, help me trace the ancient roads
On which my father's trod,
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.

Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript,
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.

Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find,
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.
