A family member I connected with on Ancestry.com turned me on to Findagrave in 2012. I've always had a fascination with cemeteries and had no idea something like this even existed! Its a great resource not just for people researching their ancestry but for family members located too far away to ever visit or see their family members final resting place.

I work full time so I'm not a member that can go out and catalog entire cemeteries but I work on trying to get my family members memorials added and will be more than happy to try to fill any local requests fellow members may have. I so appreciate the members that have helped me with my family members I'd be more than happy to return the favor to someone else.

Feel free to re-use any of the pictures I take. I'm not concerned about credit Im just happy to share them!

You are welcome. I have transferred her page to you so you can add info as needed. I am working on my pages in this cemetery to get everyone linked to their families, etc. but will be awhile before I get to the letter T. Good luck in all your searches.

Oh, and when you ask, it's really much easier for me if you'd use the EDIT tab at the top of the memorial---that way I have a direct link to the memorial. Thanks.

Nina, Ask me again in about a month, would you? I'll be glad to give it over then. Right now, I'm going back over all of Greenlawn with a fine-tooth comb and adding better pictures and obits when I can find them.

My understanding from a couison of mine said a road was built thru it. Dont know what happened to the grave stones etc. Maybe you could find out something from the Floyd County ,Va Histiorical Society. If you dont have the Lester Family Book by M.Tice you can down load it for free on the internet. It will help a lot.
