Sampsons at Pleasant Grove
There are as many Sampsons as there are Cornelius and Langs in this cemetery. I found a James "Jim" Asberry Sampson with dates of 1882-1939 with his wife Lillie Ann. I'll have to retake the picture for them. They were toward the left of the cemetery. Bud is toward the right side of the cemetery along with General and Idella Sampson next to him; and Rachel "Tobe" Sampson was in the row in front of him. When I have time I plan to go back and find some other cousins.

RE: Nancy Sampson
Yes it is the same kind, but it was exposed to more sun so it is more died out. That makes it a little harder to read, but I know I see JOHN Y or Johny ? Sampson. I'm trying to figure out how to send it to you by email.

Your Welcom. Do you know about JD/Johny Sampson?

This is an old sandrock stone that was almost burried in the ground. I had an old genweb cemetery listing that placed it close to my husband's family so I went looking. I found another stone first, which has been exposed to the sun more than Nancy. It looks like Johny ? Sampson. Can't read the dates on either stone. The only J Sampson I found on find a grave was a JD Sampson. If this is him, let me know and I'll post the picture there.
