RE: James Robertson I got the information from the Missouri Death Certificate. This is what I found: James Robertson - Black Widow - Wife's name unknown Laborer - age 65 - Born in New Madrid, Mo. Parents: James Robertson and Lula Jones - Both came from Mississippi Informant: Tom Robertson, 14th St., Caruthersville, Mo. He had uncontrollable Colitis - Unsanitary conditions - treating self - Eating infected milk and orange juice He was buried in the Pemiscot County Cemetery near Hayti, Mo. This cemetery is not there anymore. From what I have heard, this is just farm land that is used for planting now. There is no headstones. Hope this info will help in some small way. Wanda
RE: Hopper I believe the cemetery you're referring too is the Grayson County Farm Cemetery. "There are very few marked graves and the great majority are believe to be pauper graves. All that are visible have been photographed and added to this cemetery." I tried a few years back, but could not find any records as to his laid to rest at that location.
This cemetery is on Find-a-Grave http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GScid=2263454&CRid=2263454&pt=Grayson%20County%20Farm%20Cemetery&
