I live in the Mile High City of Denver, CO. |
"The limbs that move, the eyes that see,
These are not entirely me;
Dead men and women helped to shape
The mold which I do not escape;
The words I speak, my written line,
These are not uniquely mine.
For in my heart and in my will
Old ancestors are warring still,
Celt,Roman, Saxon, and all the dead
From whose rich blood my veins are fed,
In aspect, gesture, voices, tone,
Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone;
In fields they tilled I plow the sod,
I walk the mountain paths they trod;
And round my daily steps arise
The good and bad of those I comprise."

You are welcome Tim, glad I could help.
|Katie Foreman||RE: Thanks!|
You are so very welcome! I have been a bit under the weather so I haven't had the chance to fulfill other requests but I really appreciate the kind words! I hope to be back to good health and start helping again!
|Julie Armstrong Narr||McDowell-Bell|
You're welcome! I was at the cemetery again today -- lots of McDowells there.

Yes, I'd say the chances are very good that the marker has probably disintegrated. If not completely, then probably bad enough that you can't read it.

Buried, or Broken and Un-Readable, or possibly removed.

Thanks for taking the pics at Mt Lindo..

Tim, Thank you very much for you time and effort to take this photo. I really appreciate it.
|Taweret||RE: Memorial Transfer|
I know I didn't have to transfer him, but he's family to you and I'm but a stranger that happened upon where he was buried. He belongs with someone that can give his memorial more information than I can ever give it.

|Lori Salvati||Re maple hill requests|
No problem. I hope to get to many more Maple Hill requests as soon as I can. The local librarian says there is over 8,000 burials there, so a lot of luck was involved. LS
No I am not related in any way. Please add the pics so someone else can enjoy them. Thanks
