Brenda - I am not related to Grace or her family, so I can't help you with any more information.

Not sure how the middle name was placed on the memorial page because usually all I have is the info on the gravestone. Unless someone sent me an edit and I did not catch the misspelling.
Anyway thank you again.

All I can find is that he was the son of Ruebon.
There is no other info...no grave marker or an ything. Hope that this at least helps a bit.

I changed the cemetery to Culbertson for both of them. Thank you!!!

Which photos in particular are you interested in? I think I posted several for family members there. Are you by chance related to any of them? I love to find new family.
Hope to hear from you soon. -Maggie
|Bryan Anderson||John H Egle|
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the National Directory of the 355th Infantry Association, John H Egle was a member of this unit.
I'm not sure when I'm going with my research at this point, but would it be permissible to use your image of John H Elge's grave in any publications? (Find A Grave Memorial# 11963528)

I know exactly how this happens Brenda! And Brown is about as confusing as it gets! I hope you can make all the links, that sure helps. :) Luella

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! Yes, it is the wrong man. I spoke with the webmaster of the CW site, and he is taking down the page until he has further info. He has found a Wallace in Montana, but hasn't documented him yet.
I guess we are all human. I hope you're not upset with me. I've been researching for the site for several years now, and this is my first real "goof" Sorry!!
|deanna french||RE: Rutherford|
Hi Brenda; Thanks so much for the permission to use the Find A Grave photo. Also, please pass this on to your friend,,Wallace Rutherford was credited to Rutland, Vt for his Civil War service. He enlisted in the 9th Vt. Inf., and served from 1/12/1865 to Oct/25/1865.
He has a page on the Vermont Civil War site which gives his military dates. The webmaster of the site loves to add to the soldiers pages, so if she wants, I know he would welcome a scan of Wallace's photo, or even an obit etc. if she had one.
The webmaster is email@example.com. The website is www.vermontcivilwar.org.All the information I gather I send to him, and he posts it.There are thousands of pages on the site.
I'm sure Tom would be interested in anything she may have, and wishes to contribute. I know he will respond very quickly.
