|Dorene Loveall||Zebulon Loveall FAG # 133270366|
I want to thank you for making memorials for many members of this Loveall family. But, are you aware that many that you have made many duplicates? For example This one is a duplicate. The first one was made Aug. 20, 2011 by Treva Poe. (See Find A Grave Memorial # 75202567.) She has many memorial's that you have made duplicates at a later time. I am not criticizing you. I am only asking if you are aware of the other memorials, And, would you consider deleting the duplicates? You have made memorials for my husband's direct line ancestors. So, I think you probably are closely related.

You are so welcome

Michael Sullivan appears to be related to George W. Robinson. He(George) would be my great grandfather. I am in need of any info to help me in my search. Thanks in advance.
|Mary Hicks||Zebulon Loveall|
Hello--I am a direct descendant of Zebulon Loveall. He was my 6th great grandfather. Zebulon married MARY WEST, NOT MARTHA. I am telling you so that you can change your site. Someone has confused the information. I am named for Mary. Zebulon's grandson Aquilla moved to Indiana to get away from the disgrace of the fact that Reverand Henry Loveall had a tendency to divide churches in half, and had a reputation, even though he was mentioned in many books, and revered as a great speaker in the Baptist speakers conventions, especially in Baltimore. He left England for the same reason. When ever he left a church, he not only divided it, he usually left his present wife and children, but he took another man's wife with him to the new church! This is often documented in the churches he left behind him. I do not wish to besmurch my 7th great grandfather's memory, so please do not print this, but I would like you to change Zebulon's wife's name, since that does affect me. Mary West is my name sake. This is quite the scandal in my family, and my 5th great grandfather Aquilla is only mentioned in one place and that is a will on my site on Ancestry.com. Rev Henry Loveall's name was actually "Desolate Baker", which he changed, and that is the name he left England with, when he jumped a ship quickly to get out of England as fast as possible, running from the authorities, who were about to arrest him for "tampering" with another man's wife, in his congregation. (Who knows what that may have been? Scandal back then could have been as little as holding hands, or much much more???) Zebulon was born from Henry's first marriage in America--there were at least 2. Henry "Loveall" (and it appears he did!) was a great preacher, and speaker, and apparently a great lover as well! Churches couldn't decided whether to leave him, or follow him--the men hated him, the ladies loved him. My grandmother was a Godly woman who refused to tell me about him--she would die a 1,000 deaths all over again if she knew I had dug up this information on her ancestor. His churches are still in operation today--amazing! Also amazing to me is that he chose the name Loveall--why on Earth?? And he certainly did try to do that! Our family pushed out of the East into Indiana, the Ohio, up into Iowa, back to Michigan--never to set for into Maryland again. As far as I know the only time anyone went back to Maryland again was when Aquilla went back to hear the reading of his father's will. He did, however, name one of his son's Henry, after his father, who was also named Henry. There have been many Henry's since.
Warmest Regards, Mary (Mitchell) Hicks
|Gary Peacock||William Henry Sullivan|
Hi, my name is Gary Peacock, and in my research of Ledbetter ancestors from Pontotoc and Lee County, MS I came across this William Henry Sullivan who lived with the Ledbetters for a number of years.Do you know anything about this and what exactly was their relation? Unfortunately earlier U.S. census records don't tell us much about how people were related.

I'm Samuel S. Suit's granddaughter and need some info about his death. Would it be possible for you or someone else to take a picture of his grave marker in the Brown Cemetery and e-mail it to me. I was there years ago but didn't think to take pictures. I would appreciate any help I could get.

Let's try this again. You sent me an obit that I cannot post without the source. I would like to put it up but cannot because you did not provide the information as to where you obtained the obit.
