(aka annabanana47) Love of genealogy has led to love of sleuthing old cemeteries! Where some people like to go to a park or a museum, I'd rather check out a cemetery any day of the week! A passion not shared by my husband, he does accompany me on my sojourns, and I think he secretly has fun... As for family history, I am a genealogy addict uncovering not only my own family history but that of friends and family (in-law type family) There is so much out there to discover and document!

Most of my memorials are of my own family members. My grandmother was an avid genealogist and compiled most of her side of the family, which I inherited and continue to add to. The other 3/4 of my lineage have been my own discovery, years (and years) of compiling family data (on paper in the early days) and now on sites such as Ancestry.com has made me the Family Historian - now I have another resource to share my collected data: Find A Grave!

My goal is to create, manage and link my ancestry, putting life stories to the people under the stones and hopefully find a few more 'cousins' out there!

I am compiling an extensive FAULKNER (of Ulster/Orange Co NY) Genealogy/Family History. Any/all information on this family I would be strongly interested in. I am also interested in IRONS (Scotland), FRASER (Scotland), O'CONNELL (Ireland), early McBRIDE from Orange Co New York and CZACHOROWSKY from pre-1850 Prussia. States I am interested in are New York, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota.

F.Y.I. I am a volunteer photographer for Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, IL - any memorial I have created for this cemetery I will happily transfer to a relative - please free free to request! My photos are a gift to the families of the deceased. Please feel free to copy and use as you wish.
