Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a family history researcher mainly for my own family. I am 68 years old and have been married 50 years. I have two married daughters and two grandsons.

The family names that I research are: Abercrombie, Boling, Benefield, Carver, Gann, Garner, Gore, Gray, Hampton, Hendrix, Humphries, Sims, Summers, Teague, Winter/Winters and Womack. I am glad to exchange information on any of these families. I do have cemetery pictures and some family pictures on different ones.

Edmund Puckett
Hi, I saw you had some info on Edmund/Edmond Puckett's memorial. I am searching for a Pikney/Pinkney/Pinckney Pucket (Puckett) who was born in Laurens County SC on 1811, married Celia Moore (b. 1814) in Mecklenburg County in 1832 and lived in Gwinnett GA in the 1840/50s. He disappears after the 1850 census and I can't find a birth record, death record and his parents are not displayed on his marriage certificate. He may be connected to an elder Elizabeth Pucket/t whom his son John W (b.1838 in GA) was living with in 1850 in Gwinnett Georgia. I thought perhaps he may be connected to your Edmond/Edmund. If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am transferring her memorial to you. Sorry it took so long but, I did not have internet where I now live.

I think we may be related.

RE: Josie Winters
I have been unsuccessful in finding Mary Baldwin, as well. I think they were married abt 1863, and she died around 1866, either giving birth to Josie or from complications thereafter. Here is how I know that Joseph M. Winters was married before Sarah Jane Boling. I found a marriage certificate for them dated 11 Mar 1867 in Pickens Co., GA. Joseph already had a few children by that point, including Josie, so there is no way that Sarah is there mother, unless illegitimately, which is highly doubtful, especially since Josie's death certificate states that her mother was not Sarah Jane Boling, but Mary Baldwin. I have a copy of this marriage certificate, and I am e-mailing it to you now. You are the second person tonight to contact me about this (the other person wasn't quite as friendly), but there is no mistaking the handwritten document certifying Joseph & Sarah's marriage.
