I see your name is Tackett, too. This Tacket is the granddaughter of Levi Eldridge, and is a first cousin to my great grandfather. I had no idea she is buried so close to where I live (SE Indiana)...and I used to go to church in West Chester when my grandfather, an old Baptist preacher, belonged up there!

You are most welcome. I was glad to do it. All the best in your research.

I went to the cemetery today knowing that no one would be in the office unless there was a funeral. Based on the plot location you provided, I figured that the grave wouldn't be too far from the road. It was a little further back than I thought but I found it nonetheless. There is no marker for Nikki. There are two other Bishops interred to the left of his marker. Got photos of both in case they are your relatives . Will claim the photo request and upload the photos this evening.
I try not to go to this cemetery because of their "policies" which seem to change on a daily basis. They told me a few months ago that they wouldn't give me the location of a grave but that "I was free to walk around". In the next breath the lady told me that "taking photographs was discouraged" because of the privacy law. Didn't debate the fact that the Privacy Act doesn't cover the dead. I did not see a notice posted anywhere on the grounds that prohibited photos. I didn't look for one today because I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible!
The lady who originally claimed your photo request should get the credit for doing all the leg-work on this. It's a wonder she didn't get an ulcer having to deal with them. I guess the fact that you have the photo is the main thing.

They constantly change the policy, but I was told today that the new policy has not been given to grave site owners. This is a little suspicious since the plots are owned by the families, and they should be able to have photos taken of their own property. So I did a little digging. (I'm a researcher and digging for info is what I do.) Meadowbrook is owned by Service Corporation International of Houston, Texas. This is the same corporation that was sued for mishandling about 200 bodies at its Falls Church location in 2008-09. That's probably why they don't want pictures -- lawsuits. The corporate web site is http://www.sci-corp.com/SCICORP/home.aspx. If you want to contact them about taking photos their contact information is here: http://www.sci-corp.com/SCICORP/ContactInfo.aspx?alias=01. Robert L. Waltrip is the Chairman & Founder and Thomas L. Ryan is the CEO. I don't have anyone buried there, thank goodness! Good luck! If you can do photos and you want me to get them, just let me know. ...Sheryl

Lindsay Walters at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens said you would have a family member take the pictures. While I was there, however, they changed the policy again and all requests will need notarized letters from the owner of the site or next of kin. I've never had an experience like this one, so I wonder if there's more to their resistance to pictures than what we know.
Good luck getting the pictures.
