Hi, I have been working on my family tree for several years and love linking together the generations. I work hard on adding details to the findagrave memorials so that maybe someone else's research is just a little easier. When I'm not working on my family tree I'm doing family counseling in rural Minnesota or playing with my Springer Spaniel Lucky.|

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. The photos are there but a little hard to find. When you go to the main page for Iron City Cemetery - I used Cemetery Lookup to find it - I see 3 pictures and under those is a link that says "4 more photos not showing, click here to view all images" I put 2 pictures of the plaques, hopefully you can zoom in and read them fairly well.

I was at Iron City cemetery last week and also did not find a William Brown. There were lots of wooden markers with no text on them. I took a photo of the plaque that is up there now and it says:
William E. Brown
Died: October 22, 1891 (Age 37)
Fell 75 feet down a mine shaft at the Mary Murphy Mine
Brother of Henry Brown, Superintendent at the Mary Murphy Mine
I can post the photo for you if you'd like

Hi, no unfortunately, I don't. I came across his obit and added his memorial, since I did not find one for him. If he is related to you, good luck in your search!

I added a photo to E. Garnet Marshall's memorial.
I've added a photo for Elton Marshal to his memorial. This crypt is right next to a window so there is always a reflection on the marker.
I'm sending more Cleveland's your way!

I've transferred Mary. I'm glad she found her family!

I was just at the Iron City Cemetery yesterday visiting family members' graves. I can tell you that the majority of graves out there have only a blank white wooden marker. I know that a number of years ago there was vandalism in the cemetery and many of the wooden markers were removed and burned. Cadaver sniffing dogs were brought in to locate graves and mark them and I believe that is why they are all blank markers--they found the graves, but did not have good enough records to identify where individuals were buried. For our family, we had two little girls who were buried together, and there was just one site that appeared to have two bodies in close proximity. Elderly family members chipped in for a marble monument. There are only a hand full of marble tombstones there and I took photos of most of them. I did not see a Brown. Hope that helps.

When I was out there looking, no, I didn't see any "Clara Pemble" near there. But I wasn't looking for her marker/memorial. It isn't listed in the St. Ignatius Cemetery but that doesn't mean she isn't there. I looked through the many pictures I took but didn't see anything. I'll look closer next time I'm there. I only live a few miles away.
