RE: George Laabs
Hi Taffy, So tragic. I just put a little on his memorial. If you'd like to manage your husband's great-grandmother's memorial or any of your other relatives, just let me know. Thanks. Mary

taffy, you are most welcome - and I have transferred management of your father's memorial to your care, as it should be. There are some great photo volunteers for Find A Grave working at SVNC, so I am certain you'll have a photo of his marker very soon.

All my best, Mark

RE: 64402576 Reba Laabs
I have transferred Reba Laabs memorial over to you for future care of Reba Laabs memorial......unfortunatley I live 150 miles away from this cemetery location so I do not know if a gravestone has been placed at the gravesite.

You might contact Tim Hultine that posted the pics for Reba's gravesite.

The stone is worn but it does say 1845. Plus 1815 would mean his mother was 7 when she gave birth to him.

RE: # 31085044 James Walker
All the information that I posted came from the headstone. James W. Walker. It is entirely possible that the "L" is an "I". The cemetery is in very good condition, compared to when i found it in 2008. (Thanks to the BSA, and Mike and Vicky Fields!) I looked at the picture I have of James' headstone, and it is just not clear enough to determine if it is an L or and I.

RE: 113165789 Allen Henry Ciperlie
I already connected Burtie to his parents--the one you sent earlier was for Allen. You had linked Allen's parents as Allen himself and Belle. That is why I declined the edit. I connected Peter to Allen, but do not know where Sarah is buried.

Sadly I have no other information for you. The note was on the cemetery register. I'm guessing either Peter or Sarah was perhaps called Burtie? Perhaps that's why they named their son that? I can add or remove any information you like. I have no familial connection to this family. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hello, You are correct about the tombstone. I cannot tell you the person or persons responsible for this stone as it has been over 35 years that I worked with his descendants who at that time lived near his cemetery. I am sure several of them went together to pay for the stone. Stone cutters did not begin to show up in that part of Kentucky until the 1840's as I understand it.

Dear Taffy, unfortunately, Bertha isn't one of my memorials (I can't transfer it). Hopefully Ms. Kay will do that for you. Yours, Jeff
