When I first started doing work for Find A Grave, I was taking pictures of surrounding graves to the ones I had photo claims for and adding them as a courtesy. On two occasions, I mistakenly added two memorials that already existed. I have been trying for over a year to get those deleted. I delete them, then come back the next day and find out that not only are they back, but they are back 2 or 3 extra times. I have contacted Find A Grave for help with this. I'm sorry David Goltry that I duplicated your original memorial. It was an honest mistake that I have been trying DAILY to correct for over a year. Since I have no way to notify you of this, I hope that you will read this and know that no, I don't NEED to duplicate memorials. It was a newbie mistake that has been impossible to correct ever since. |
Now, having said that, I found my deceased, beloved relatives on findagrave thanks mostly to my cousin Adam McDonald, whom I met thanks to this site. I enjoy helping other people by taking pictures of burial requests. Thank you to the kind people who have submitted photos of my family burials, mostly in Alva, OK, Southern CA, Yuma, AZ and West Virginia. I take photos mostly in the Denver, CO area.

Thank you Cynthia your kind words are greatly appreciated.
I live in Canada and had a few spare hours when we in California in February. It is the only cemetery I have ever visited where the staff looked up the grave location then actually took me, in a golf cart, to the various gravesites and wait patiently while I took photographs. It was a great experience!! I'm glad you like the photos.
This is the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so I am gearing up to feed our extended family turkey on Sunday.

Thanks for the headstone photo. May I use it on ancestry?

Thank you so very much for adding the photo of Ronnie Moyle's grave marker. I have just added memorials for his parents Keith Moyle (115214695) and Vera Moyle (115214769). Your kind help in adding the photo of their grave marker to their memorials is appreciated. Ralph

Thank you for trying to get to the headstone. It looks like there are 41 interments listed on Find A Grave and not one headstone photo! From the listings, it looks as if George's burial in 1938 was the last one. I wonder why they quit using the cemetery? From the cemetery photo taken in 2009, it looks as if it has headstones, but the weeds look pretty high. Maybe the local historical society would have more information.
Thanks for the try. I appreciate your work.

Just out of curiosity, is there a funeral home near this cemetery? If so, they may have an easement right to get to it. And do you know if the cemetery is still in use?
