Holy Cross Cemetery Photo Requests
Please call the cemetery office and ask for the grave location. Photo requests cannot be fulfilled without Section, Range/Row and Lot numbers as cemetery is too big.

RE: Francis McManus d.1900
Hello again Anne,
I found a bunch of info for you. I got the lot listing. There are 7 people buried in that plot. 3 McManus, 2 Campbell, 1 O'Donnell and 1 McCabe. I created memorials for 6 of them, you had already created 1 for Frank McManus. I also found a person with a McManus family tree on that matches the names in the Holy Cross Plot. There were 10 children for Frank McManus, 3 are buried with him, one is Daniel (not Don). Frank's wife's maiden name was McCabe. I believe the McCabe buried in the plot may be her sister. The O'Donnell looks to be the husband of a McManus girl, who oddly, isn't buried in that plot. I posted the Lot Listing sheet on Frank McManus's memorial page. Feel free to copy it.
Any other help I can give, feel free to ask. Hope this help in your research.

I added a photo of the death certificate. I will go to the office and try to get a lot listing of who is buried in that plot. Feel free to copy the photo for your records.

Francis McManus d.1900
No headstone was found at the location specified. I was able to find a death certificate for a Frank McManus who died on Aug. 12, 1900 at the age of 55 and was buried in Holy Cross. He was a widower and worked as a gate tender. He died from injuries received on the Pennsylvania Railroad. Don't know if this is your Francis McManus but if you want a copy of the certificate I can attach it to his memorial page.

RE: Michael Marley
it is very difficult to get an acceptable photograph of a name on the wall; it would be useless without the benefit of the 'enhancing'.

You may care to consider sending a thank you e-mail to Arthur Brookes-he's the one who gives his time and he excelled himself yesterday by doing all six for me.

His e-mail address is
