|I am willing to transfer an owner ship of a memorial if it isn't my family.|
If I'm out and about taking pictures, I look at the markers around the requested grave and if it looks like a family member is near by, I will add them to the cemetary.

|Mike N||Margaret (Winn) Madden|
Thank you so much for posting a picture of Margaret's stone. She is my 4x great grandmother!
Was her husband Martin buried there too?
Note: Interestingly, the death record list I can view at LDS says 4/6 rather than 4/26.

The only pictures that I have of Lena and Bessie are the one I place on Find a Grave. Sorry wish I could be of more help.
|Gloria Brethour||RE: Kinney-Willette Photos|
Yes, Lena and Bessie's mother was Nellie Chase (Chace) and Nellie was my Great Grandmother's (Nora Chase/Hoon ) sister.

Thanks for the information, it did help. We had not known about Margaret. This is the benefit of someone else's eyes, to see something you wouldn't be able to find. We found Sam's other 2 daughters.
The website is one we used to find obits that lead us to other people. It's very useful for connecting the dots.

Thank you so much for posting all the pictures of the Ryan's from Merrill MI who were buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery. This is my husbands family. Sarah Loretta Ryan (Daniel Ryan & Sarah Kelly)was the sister to John Ryan. She married Robert Dennis Madden. We got a kick out of the photo of John (Cement Johnny) Ryan.

#132969679. This man is buried at Oakwood Cemetery not Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum. The cemetery and the mausoleum are next door to each other, thus causing a lot of confusion. Also, Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum is NOT owned by the city of Saginaw.
The following is the web address for the City of Saginaw Cemetery search page: http://cemeteries.saginaw-mi.com/search/
According to the record, the grave address is Section 116, Plot S560 with a marker. This site has nice, detailed maps of the cemetery.
I was digging into Willett and Willette at the cemetery. I almost plugged this in from the Cemetery, because there were no Willette there. I thought I would check Willett to be safe and found you. Which way are your people spelled really spelled? Please let me know. Anyways here are some plot numbers. Enjoy!

I just happened to go to Owen Ryan's findagrave page and you had posted a picture there with the entire family in 1915. So very cool! As I have never seen a photo of the parents Do you have other photos of the family. I am going to try a get a copy made but not sure how well it will turn out as the photo is kinda grainy. Still cool anyway!
|VeeJay||RE: Point Pelee Cemetery Girardin|
The one I am referring to is the same DeLaurier family cemetery. It also goes by the name Point Pelee Cemetery (not to be confused with the one on the island). The Francis Girardin monument I photographed was just beyond the Maxon Girardin headstone. All of the photos I posted to your memorials in fulfillment of your request were ones that I had taken earlier this summer while hiking at Point Pelee National Park. I happened to have kept them on file, history buff that I am. I'd like to go back and re-photograph that particular marker to see if there were inscriptions on its other faces since it appears that Francis Girardin was married (to a DeLaurier).
I'll happily send you images of what I have to date of it if you contact me at:

In Point Pelee Cemetery there was a monument with the name Francis Girardin (dod Aug 27, 1898). I also photographed this marker. Contact me if you want more information and/or the images.
