I got your message and I went to the memorials listed and sent an "edit" request to the people who have manage those memorials giving them the Find A Grave numbers for the people who need to be linked. I hope they will take care of that. Check back in a few days - most folks on here are pretty quick to respond in making links.
It's pretty easy to make these requests through the little "edit" tab on the upper right corner of a memorial. That will open up a new screen that lets you type in the memorial number for a parent or spouse or to even add a date of birth, date of death, etc and send it as an edit request to the person who manages the memorial. The person receiving the request doesn't have to copy the numbers (like we used to have to do). They just have to accept or decline the linkage. Most folks accept unless there is inaccurate information being provided.
I hope this helps.

Do those grandparents and great grandparents you mentioned in your note have memorials on Find a Grave yet? I looked in a Rolling Hills cemetery in Georgia and found Kenneth Iddo Hamby - # 63582295. However, I found no other Hambys listed in that cemetery. I'll be happy to help you figure out how to link the memorials but I don't know where they are or if they've yet been created.
Thanks - Suzannah

Thank you for your visit. I have run up against a brick wall as of 1/4/2014. David is where, I am stopped at the moment.Thank you for any help.Chris L.Mathews
I sent you an E-Mail about the Dilbeck Family.
Please let me know if you received it.
|chris mathews||Mathews Family|
I am sorry that. I did not contact you.
My E-Mail is email@example.com.
I have been able to trace the family back to Nathan Mathis(1795-????). I traced Rachel Dilbeck (1827-1910) back to Europe.
My side is from Daniel Mathis(1850-1921).
My Great-Grandfather was William David Mathis/Mathews(1874-1955). My GrandFather was William Willard Mathews(1907-1989).
William David was a "colorful" character and offered no information on his family.Is there any way you can help me? Please, let me know either way. Chris L.Mathews
|Ed Mathis||RE: Any Information will be grateful|
Stephen, yes, looks like we're related. I'm descended from George and Rachel's son, Daniel, by his son, John, by his son Oris, by his son Edmond J., who was my father. I have not worked on genealogy for a long time, and have never been able to determine for sure if Nathaniel and Nancy are George's parents. I figure it's pretty likely, though. Let me know if you learn anything else.
I believe we are related because I have the same information.Is there a way to contact you via E-Mail? Mine is firstname.lastname@example.org.
