Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired elementary school teacher. I have been doing genealogy and family history research since 1985, the year that I retired.

Most of my work was done before the age of computers in genealogy.

I have spent many hours searching in cemeteries.

Throop marker
Sorry have no idea who placed the marker. It was nice to see it though. So many times when a marker decays the grave just becomes abandoned so it was great to see that someone still cares.

RE: William and Martha Throope
You are welcome! You may want to look at Martha's memorial again - I took some more photos when I was there a couple weeks ago and happened to get the sun just right for Martha's, so I replaced one of the photos with a much better one. Also, check out the year of death - to me it looks like 1736...

Leavitt Cemetery
Hello- You are so welcome. We were visiting my sister in law in The Berkshires in 1989 when I took those pictures. I was organizing my pictures the other day and came across the cemetery photos and thought I would put them on find a grave. I only took 2, wish I had taken many photos, but at the time, I wasn't into genealogy. Anyway, glad that you get to see them and know where your 3x's great grandparents were laid to rest. Cheers, ChoctawZ
