RE: Jonathon West
No, problem I am in and out of the cemetary alot. There are three other Wests buried near him. I think it is his wife, possibly son and one other. Let me know if you need anything else.

Carol Savko
Hi Sally;

You can contact me at

Note, my Andrew and Rose Savko did not have any children or grandchildren named Carol, however, there is another Savko clan in this area that is not related to mine. Could be thru a brother of Andrew, from the late 1800s. But the one who lives near me doesn't seem too interested in talking to me. I tried to contact him a couple of times in the past.

Electa Hixson

I went to the cemetery this morning and found no headstone for Electa's lot. There is a stone for Willie B. Hixson next to her. I will add that to his memorial. I did take a picture of the side-by-side lot if you wish to have a picture of it.

#89444019 Photo Request
I just received your request for a photo. We are under a winter storm warning with extremely low temperatures for the next week or so. I would be happy to assist you later in the spring, as we are there a couple of times each week. Let me know if you don't mind waiting, OR if you know exactly where the grave site is, I can try next week when it gets above freezing. Happy Holidays, Nae

RE: square
Hi Sally,
Elsie and Nicola's marker is beautiful and nicely set with landscaping. It is obviously well maintained.

Glad I could contribute!

RE: Thank you again!
Sally, come on down! Would be happy to show you around.
Are you aware that the graves listed for the Leavitssville cemetery are from the Carroll Co. Cemetery books and are a reading of the headstones? Your close family is a bit scattered and not all right next to each other.

There is one baby or child's stone, that I will have to foil to be able to read it. I thought the camera would help, but it didn't.

Do you have "proof" that Fatima is Susannah & John's sister? Bible records or something. The parents are William & Mary Reiser Campbell, correct?

RE: Thank you again!
Sally you are more than welcome. I don't get to do this as often as I would like, but Leavittsville is closest to me. Makes it easier.
I have Campbells in my line as well and there are a lot of them at Leavittsville. Mine are Fatima Campbell married to Rev. Josiah Moore Poulton. J.M. third wife, Susannah, was also a Campbell and is thought to be his first wife's sister.
