Halbert Cemetery Lincoln county Tn.
Halbert Cemetery is 1-1/2 m SSE of Swan Creek Presbyterian Church E on Swan Creek Rd & N of Old Elkton Pike Hwy 273 -- GPS is 35.16330/-86.72470

Swan Creek Cemetery is E from Swan Creek Rd & Swan Creek from Swan Creek Presbyterian Church 1-1/2 m S of Old Taylortown

Think you have to get on private property to access this cemetery so stop and ask for directions. I tried to find this cemetery one day but was unable to find it. Some other visitors lucked up and found somone mowing grass that showed them the way --
GPS is 35.18565/-86.73499

Good luck!

Swan Creek mix up
Gordon Luna just informed me that Swan Creek Cemetery is not identified correctly on findagrave. You might check with him and Lincoln Co. genealogy soc, before striking out. Good luck!

RE: Swan creek cemetery
David, the cemetery is on private property and a little difficult to find. If you have a map of the area, it is between Frankewing and McBurg. A Mr. Hamilton who lives nearby led us there on a 4 wheeler and introduced us to the property owners, who were very gracious about letting us walk up to the cemetery. We found the directions and the helpful neighbors through the Lincoln County Genealogical Society. I suggest you get in touch with them to get more help. It is a large cemetery, but all overgrown. I took pics of the few monuments that were legible to me. I hope you can add a few.

Swan Creek Cemetery
David,
I am not sure about the location of Swan Creek Cemetery, but found this online... Boonshill Quadrangle, across Swan Creek from Swan Creek Presbyterian Church, one and one half mile south of Taylortown. You might also obtain this book, Cemetery Records of Lincoln-Moore Counties, TN, complied by Helen C. and Timothy R. Marsh, Southern Historical Press, Inc. Greenville, S. C. 1996. Hope this is helpful.
