Terry Pickett
Looking for my father Alvin Pickett

Alvin Pickett was my fathers name. He served as a U.S. marine in the Korean war and was married to Doris E. Janes my mother, who lived in North East Penna..

I was born in Erie Penna. at Hamot hospital on august 2, 1951. My name is Terry L. Pickett. I have a younger brother named Victor R. Pickett, born in Hamot hospital on Feburary 13, 1953. We lived in Findley Lake NY. for a short time in 1953 or 55.

As my father left my mother when I was about 4 or 5. I don't remember much about him, so I was wondering if this is my Dad. I would be be thankful for anyone who knew Alvin or could provide me with any additional information about him.
Thanks!

Thank you for the photo of Tom's marker. I just recently found his memorial and saw that you had added it. I told my husband's cousin about you taking the marker photos of his parents for us. She said she knows where her grandparents, Louis and Rose McNaughton are and will get the pictures for their memorials. Have a good week walking in Chapel Hills.

RE: Alfred Doc Harris
Thank you so much! And thank you for telling me as I wouldn't have noticed right away. I am so busy linking up newly found Harris family members. God bless you.

RE: Alfred Doc Harris
I don't expect any promises, of course. My husband's adopted grandparents, Lewis and Rose, and also buried there, but not in the same place. Thank you, but don't put yourself to a lot of trouble. If you happen to see the markers and want to take photos, I would be most appreciative.

Alfred Doc Harris
Hi,
I just noticed that you have added a photo of the marker for my husband's father's memorial. I want to thank you so much. How very kind of you. Glenn Geirland was going to do it, but he said they made him quit taking pictures there. We are so far away at the moment, and I wasn't doing genealogy when we were in Michigan. In fact, I just found the Harris family tree about two weeks ago. We had no almost no info on them. Now, I've been madly getting the names compiled and added to our tree.
Do you live near Chapel Hill? There should be two marker's right next to Al's that say Willis and Florence McNaughton. That is my husband's mother and adopted father.

Thank you again!
Rosie McNaughton
