| Lazurus Solomon
I have searched for this grave several times in the past few months and so far have had no success. I have driven out Crescent Rd, most recently last week (no leaves on trees), coming from Jeffersonville and turning L on Crescent Rd, and looking on the L side of the road about where the Solomon cemetery is marked on the map, but have not seen any graves. There are GPS co-ordinates given but they appear not to correlate with the map and certainly not with my Android GPS. I visited this grave a couple of decades ago and remember it being in woods just off the side of a dirt road, but cannot remember exactly how I got there. I wonder if you recall exactly how you found it, or if you could give me a name of whomever helped you to find it?

Dear Teresa,
Lazarus Solomon is my g-g-g grandfather and I am from the line of his daughter Dicey. I appreciate your research and actually found the grave a little over a year ago after many trips to that area. I have a few photos and was led to the location by the former mayor there. It is hard to put into words the emotions when climbing that bank and seeing where they are buried. We are having our Wall family reunion tomorrow, August 26, 2012 in Tazewell, Georgia at the Methodist Church and I am going to share this link with them. Dicey married Soloman Wall and they had a son named Torrence Wall. Torrence had a daughter named Cora Leona Wall who married John William Roberts, my grandfather. From my research I have learned that Lazarus Solomon served with General Nathaniel Greene, Rhodes Company, North Carolina. It is common knowledge that after the War for Independence, General Greene visited Lazarus Solomon in Fitzpatrick and/or Tazewell. Once again, thank you for your work in this area. I am 65 years old and I never saw any of my grandparents because they had my parents when they were older. For example, my mother was a Rush from Buena Vista, Georgia.
