I first became interested in Genealogy when I was in college. My grandfather, E. Edgar Farlow, was tracing the Farlow family and I was able to help him find some information. My mother also spent time tracing the Morris and Cox families. Since I retired, I have time to spend on both my ancestry and my late husband's family. I am interested in Farlow, Reich, Cox, Morris, Wagner, and Edwards families. Most of my ancestors were Quakers and they kept good records, which have been much help.

RE: Thomas J. Edwards
Hello Betty, Thank you so much for your speedy reply. I have been researching the Edwards/Darnell families for three or four years now using mostly. My late brother Paul was a Mormon, and "put our family in the Temple" so he said. Unfortunately, Paul in his search for guts and glory, put some erroneous information in the records.
I found Ethel C. via "" on recommendation of Vigo County. All I had was a story that came up once in awhile. She was never counted as she was born Jan. 1903 and died Mar, 1910 (one month before census). I have birth and death certificates. I also have many spellings for Great grandma Edwards, and none of them match the name on her tombstone.
My uncle James Riley Edwards used to talk about his uncle Jim who was Maurice's Grandfather. Charles T. and family were in the Nevins, Vigo, IN. in the 1910 count, but were in Detroit, Wayne, MI. in 1920.
That's all for now, and I would very much like to keep in touch. I am sure we may each have much valuable info to help one another.

Thomas J. Edwards
Hello, My name is James Oscar Edwards. My father was Oscar Carl Edwards. His father was Charles Thomas Edwards. Thomas J. was his father. I have a photo of Chas. T. with his mother dated 1916, but none of Thomas J. ever made it to Michigan when the family moved here. All the Edwards', Whittens', Huffs', Babcocks' etc. are gone. all that remain are my brother Charles T., my son Charles T. lll, and myself. We would greatly appreciate it if any of the Indiana or anywhere else could help. Side note: Oscar C. was Ethel C's brother (1.5 yrs. younger) and saw the whole train incident in 1910.

Please respond when you can. Thank you,
