Pitts and Green cemetery
I've made the correction you suggested for Mary Hughes Roan Green, and changed the note that mentioned Pitts Green as being the husband of Mary on that same memorial.
Are these people a part of your family? I'm happy to transfer them to you to manage, if you'd like. Just let me know.

1787 - 1873 John Greene's father
There are several connection between the Greene and my Hunt/LeSueur families.

#1. Rev. Myles Greene (s/o Peter Greene, Jr. (RWS) and Judith Love). He m. 1st., Elizabth Hunt (my direct line); 2nd., Mrs. Nancy (Bass) Stainback (d/o Alexander Bass and Martha Lockett), m. 1st., Francis Stainbach and 3rd., Mrs. Mary (Johns) McGehee. m. 1st., James McGehee.

#2. Capt. Allen J. Greene, "War of 1812", s/o James William Greene (s/o Peter Greene, Jr. and Judith Love and bro./o Rev. Myles Greene) and Elizabeth Bass (prob. dau./o Alexander Bass and Martha Lockett and sis./o Nancy Bass. He m. Nancy Hunt, d/o Capt. Judkins Hunt, Sr., RWS and Martha Batte (4th gdpts.) and sis./o Elizabeth Hunt (m. Rev. Myles Greene) and Judkins Hunt, Jr. ~ 3rd gf (m. Unity Hancock).

#3. Richard Greene, s/o John Greene (s/o James William Greene and Elizabeth Bass) and Nancy Daniel (d/o Frederick Daniel, RWS and Elizabeth Powell). He m. Parthenia Kirk and the bro./o Mountain Greene, Sr. (m. Mary "Polly" McLeroy).
Andrew Jackson "Jack" LeSueur, ~ 2nd gf, s/o Jordan B. LeSueur and Susannah Stinson. He m. Louisa Eleanor "Ellen" Tyler (m. 2nd., Morris Daniel). The 1870 census rec'ds., Pike Co., GA is showing Andrew Jackson "Jack" LeSueur listed in Richard Greene's household. He was in ver poor heath by prior to 1870 and his wife, Louisa Eleanor "Ellen" Tyler m. 2nd., by 1871, Spalding Co., GA to a Morris Daniel (s/o ???).

John Greene and Nancy Daniel resided in Jones County in the early 1800s. They later moved to Monroe and Pike Counties.

The Kirks are also related to my Hunts of Jones County.

As for Morris Daniel (s/o ???) It's possible he is the same Morris Daniel who might have m. 2nd., Josephine Harp of Talbot County. Have an idea he related to Frederick Daniel (RWS) and the Daniels of Spalding County.
