Thanks to Richard Hrazanek for the above statement, which I copied (the sincerest form of flattery) from his bio.
It is so important that my three granddaughters know where they come from. So, genealogy is not only great fun, it is a compelling need, perhaps even duty, that I record the family history.
Researching from the Western Reserve to England, exploring a bit of minor nobility and ordinary peasants in the old Austrian Hungarian Empire, finding some family roots in Ulster and Bobby Burns' county of Ayr in Scotland, discovering the wretched misery of passage in steerage, learning that the women had a hard lot with so many children closely born, thrilling to learn of Nantucket sea captains, appreciating the members of the Society of Friends helping in the underground railroad - making the acquaintance of all these, who came before, as well as many more, has been my reward.

I am very happy to be able to transfer these to a family member. I added a few hundred people in Calvary over a year ago. I took their photos while looking for a relative. I just had a feeling that most of them were not in Findagrave and someone might be looking for them. Enjoy your research and that is a real gift to your grandchildren. - Megan
