Hi Kitty. I believe the star is the symbol for the group called Eastern Star. It is a part of the Freemasons that is open to both men and women. A lot of wives on Mason's join it. It you can click on the image and get a bigger view, you can see that it is very intricate. Check it out on Google. Hope that helps.
