|My interest in genealogy started when I was a child of about 10. I found a genealogy booklet a distant cousin had given my Mother. I loved reading about all the people she had told stories about. I tried to follow the number system to see how each one was related to me. Many years later when I was going through a pile of papers at my Mother's home, I found one long paper with my grandmother's family starting with her and going three generations back. Well, that was the start of a wonderful search for the rest of the family. I researched for many years and stopped several years ago, when many of my lines hit a brick wall. A cousin told me about Find a Grave a couple of weeks ago, and I have been working on it. This is a great site. I am working on the grave site for the memorials and also trying to break down those brick walls.|

|Marea DeRosa||RE: Phoebe Griffin or Griffen|
Hi! Thank you for providing the information on Phoebe Griffin or Griffen. I am wondering do you happen to know when the name Griffen changed to Griffin?
Thank you again, Marea
|Marea DeRosa||Phoebe Griffin or Griffen|
My line goes from Griffen but I found Phoebe Griffin with exactly the same time that she was born and died. I am wondering if she is related to me. can you tell me who is her mother and father and so on? Sometimes, they change the spelling when you go way back.
Thank you, Marea
|Tom B Stone||Loyd|
Both transfers completed.
|Teresa L. Watson||Whittenburgs|
I hesitated for a few minutes about transferring them. I spent a year doing research on the Whittenburg family, and three years walking around Dreamland Cemetery. I learned so much about them, I became rather attached to them, and always made sure to visit their graves and clean them off whenever I went out there. But I know they are in good hands! =)
William Harold Koenig was a handsome man also. Thank you for attaching the picture on his Memorial.
He was b. in Nortonville, Jefferson Co., KS wasn't he?

|Joe Harris||RE: Mary Schiedel Lloyd|
I have small snapshot found in my grandmother's belongings that could be Schiedels, perhaps including Stephen - but it is not labelled. If you think you could identify it, please send me your email address and I will forward digital copy. Any other photos of Stephen or his children would be very welcome.
