I am confused. The obituary and the date on the stone are B 17 Nov 1889. Could it be wrong? Also, I live nearby and the Lower Valley Hospital is in Fruita, so I showed that on her death place. Please advise about the birth date mixup.

RE: Shaffer line
Hi, The Wilson Shafer that died in 1888 and was buried at New Jerusalem Cemetery is the younger BROTHER of Madison Shaffer, and the UNCLE of the Wilson G. Shaffer who is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery. I had actually entered memorials for both Wilson G. Shaffer (#47675110) and Lizzie Ritter Shaffer (#47675163) in 2010. Thank you for forwarding along the Plot for these folks. I've updated their memorials.

RE: John Christensen 1844-1891
No, this is not the same John Christensen that you've mentioned. I've linked John H. Christensen to his wife, Catherine Peterson and to one of his daughters, Marie Dukelow. He also had a son, Herman b. May 1881 and dau, Jesse b. Mar 1888 in the 1900 Eau Claire census. Not my family but I have updated their memorials.
