Thank you so much for the transfer of the Cole Memorials....these are members of my mother's family.

I am of no relation to the Hite family. Ran across the family while posting graves at the Georgia Memoiral Park in Marietta. As long as you are aware and are working on the merger of the duplicates, great. I appreciate you letting me know what the issue was.

you have added several photos but there are duplicate and more complete memorials that could also use your photos it you have them available for upload.

Hi: I will be more than glad to transfer the record of your Great Grandmother to you. I have been walking this cemetery and cataloging the graves of people for the future. I realized that this had not been done and there are so many of my family, friends and folks that I know while I was growing up in Scottdale and attended Ingleside Presbyterian Church. Have a Blessed Day!

Joy, Both Joel Colley Hamby and his wife, Mary Ann (Mollie) Hamby have tombstones in Cold Springs Cemetery. Not a double marker, but seperate markers. "J.C. Hamby" and "Mollie Preston, wife of J.C."

Not a problem! Thanks for letting me know.

Thought you'd be interested, I located the marriage record for J.V. Sweat and Lizzie Stephens. I have posted a photo of the marriage license at her findagrave memorial.
Now you know that her maiden name was indeed Stephens.
They are two different ones...Jones-Carter is off cole lake rd...Jones is off Snote Jones Rd

You are so very welcome. I had for years tried to locate this cemetery, there is very little to be found in the way of records. I have my 80 year old mother-in-law to thank for locating this cemetery, she grew up in the South Bend area, and had attended the funerals of several family members there. The Buchanan's and allied families are my husband's line. I am still researching the cemetery and hopefully will be able to add additional information in the future.
I would be more than happy to transfer James Sweatt and his wife Sarah to you.
Thank you so much for posting the photos!

Hi J Hart, So happy to hear that you figured out who your g-g-g grandparents are and that I can help you out by transferring their memorials to you. A great genealogy day. Sandy
