I'm searching for my father in laws grave. Is there any information you can give me about this Clarence H Sheppard
You have a photo request for him. I will add an overall plot photo as he is buried in a very old section of several hundred unmarked single graves. There are but a handful of stones and his is not one of them. I tried to find a death notice in the archived newspaper files but didn't find anything for him. Unfortunately, the minimal info on the cemetery records is all that is known about him at this time.

Hi Again - no problems, glad I could give you a pointer. Most folks on Find A Grave are helpful - a few aren't but that's life right? If you use photos be sure to give credit to the photographer - that's the biggest issue I've seen. There is also the discussion forums if you need help. You'll get the hang of it, don't be discouraged - go for it! I find Find A Grave is great supplement to prove your genealogy out too.

Hi, FYI there are multiple images of this headstone. Not sure why you are looking for another? In fact, Eric McGuire's photos are the best - He does a wonderful job. FYI, are you clicking on the photo to enlarge it? If you have had work done on it as it does look like it is degrading let me know and I'll stop over - it 3 miles from where I live.

Oddly I remember this headstone very well. It was in such bad repair. When I get the chance to go back there I will try to get a better photo. It is rare to find a mans stone with the full name. I will do what I can about getting a translation of the German. We have about a foot of snow covering us so this may take some time.
