|Trying to get everyone connected. So when you go to a name in the family you can see the generations. |
I also want to thank everyone that goes to the grave yards, take pictures and post them. Thank you!!! You are really appreciated. Thanks

I'm a bit confused. You just want transfer of a non-relative, but not others in the family? I can easily make the links to relatives without transfer.

Would really appreciate a better photo of her marker. Per that website cannot use their photos even though I have seen some copy and paste them on Find A Grave memorial pages.

What was the name of your great grandfather?

I'll keep it; she is my great-grandmother and I loved visiting her grave.
We must be cousins. :)

We only managed to transcribe & photograph half of the graveyard when we were there, but hope to finish it off next year. We didn't see a stone for John Banks- perhaps he is buried in the same grave but not mentioned on the stone? I do not know where the records are kept for the burials- there are not markers for all the graves and I don't know if there is a plan. There are some records for 18th & 19th century burials at Muncaster on www.familysearch.org
If you are based in England you can use your library card number online for free(!) to look at some of the historic newspapers for 18th/19th century or www.findmypast.co.uk has newspapers on their website available to view for a charge as there may be Death/ burial announcements. Alternatively, this link to Cumbria Archives may be of some help? http://www.cumbria.gov.uk/archives/Online_catalogues/default.asp
Sorry I haven't got any more information for you. Hope I have been of some help!
