Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 200 requests this spring and now have 626 requests—fewer than there were in June, 2012. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!

Reed, The information that I have came from the rosters, and the Union Casualties at Gettysburg. The cemetery he is buried in is maintained by the VA. I do understand you have a burial record, but I cannot find anything that says his body was removed. My suggestion would be to contact the VA. This will not be the first time this has happened to me. And trust me the VA are very hard to deal with. Keep in touch. Ted.

You've put in a request at Calvary in Cleveland. I'm starting to plan a trip there in the spring or late winter. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you can obtain plot location AND a plot map from the office (unless it's posted here: http://tinyurl.com/cepkrmb) I can try to take the photo when I go in the spring. Phone number is: (216) 641-7575

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. I know one person who they mailed a plot map to. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. Without this info you're sadly unlikely to get it filled. If I can get info for many it will be worth the 25 minute trip to try to cut down the 759 requests.

Thanks!

Thank you for finding and photographing Charles' grave marker. As for Mary and Joseph, I'm not entirely surprized that there was no stone. The family wasn't particularly rich and a cemetery plot was probably all they could afford. Thanks for looking!

RE: Thanks!
It was the memorial for Andrej Jutka. I don't know if I am related to him or not, but I have some Jutka ancestors. Considering he is the only Jutka in all of Find-A-Grave, I thought I'd request the photo just in case. I would appreciate any records you would be willing to provide. Thanks again!

Hi,

I added a link to Florence's 2nd husband along with gravestone photos. I also sent Florence's obituary and burial location to the memorial's creator so it can be added to the site.

Sincerely,
Dave McCaffrey

Baumann in Crown Point
Took Mabel B's picture. Found no other Baumanns in immediate area nor any Albrights. Plaques in immediate proximity were:Kelly, Nemeth, Best, Kefauver, Owens and quite a few Blaylocks.
