|David King||RE: Archibald Patterson|
Thanks. I have found some of the Pattersons in Bullitt Co., where a lot of the family moved to from Casey Co.
|Nancy A. Shattuck||Elizabeth Perkins Patterson|
I obtained the actual death certificate of Elizabeth Patterson (nee Perkins). She was the sister of my great great grandfather.
Her daughter was Clara Beatrice Gillum (nee Patterson) who married Halley Augustus Gillum.
Elizabeth's son Albert Clifford Patterson and his second wife, Catherine C. Scott died suddenly of an unknown cause in 1909. Their children were taken in by the Gillum's in California. Elizabeth also moved out there.
I just sent an edit request and attached the memorial I.D.
It took a great deal of time to figure this complicated family situation out!
Thank you for your work. It is greatly appreciated.
Nancy A. Shattuck
G-G granddaughter of John Wesley Perkins

Thanks. Just looking for family history.

|David King||Archibald Patterson|
My name is David King from Taylorsville/Spencer Co. While researching my family history, it appears that my great grandmother was Mahala Patterson McArthur King. Some notes that I have list her as Emma and also have seen Emily listed. She had many siblings, including Archibald. Parents were Jonathan and Mary Littlejohn Patterson. In her brother's (Charles)will recorded in Spencer Co.,it lists several family members. She married Jesse McArthur, but later married my great grandfather, William King from Bullitt/Spencer Co. area. Any information you can share with me would be appreciated.

Your Great grandfather must have been Oscar Green- actually,I think you have a strong resemblance to Bob Green, are you from his line? I knew Aunty Rose and cousin Janet very well, I only met Robert a couple of times when we both lived in Costa Mesa...
Hattie is Manuel Joseph's second wife- he married her not long after Josephine died. I'm in the middle of packing to move so unfortunately, all my info- I have a copy of their marriage cert, I think, is in a box.
My Mother was Edith Robinson Magnani, daughter of Rose Cardoza Robinson, eldest daughter of Josephine and Manuel...

I noticed the photo you posted. Do you know who the gentleman is with her? Is it James Hamilton?
|Reverend Larry||Ledgerwood Family|
I get lost a little bit. I think that is 4th or 5th cousins. I retired 1/11/2011 and have been working on Find a Grave and My families Genealogy.
On my mother's line is Dull. The Dulls were Gunsmiths and they figured out how to put groves in the muskets to make them more accurate. They always had names for their Muskets like the Virginian or the Kentuckian. Never used "Dull". It is possible that Davey Crockett took a "Dull" Musket to the Alamo. My family line:
Father: Charles Taylor, Grandfather: James Taylor Jr., Great Grandfather James Taylor Sr.(wife Rachel Ledgerwood), Great Great Grandfather William Ledgerwood, Great Great Great Grandfather and brother to Nathaniel, James Ledgerwood.
On a few occasions, I thought I had the Father of Samuel Ledgerwood figured out. It has to be William (1700-1792).

My Great Great Grand father was a 1849 Gold Chaser William Ledgerwood and moved his family from California to Central Oregon in the 1870's.
