Bio and Links
Bio Photo Most of the memorials I manage are in the Tomah, WI area. I've tried to pull together as much information as I could for them. I've found most of this info in census records. In certain families, I've found a large amount of information compiled by Gary Griggs. He has spent a LOT of time researching many of the Tomah families; if you are researching a family from Tomah, check to see if he has something that can help you. Google "Tomah Family Trees Lutherans Online" - it should be the first link.

Please feel free to send any corrections you may have or request a transfer for your family, I'm happy to help out wherever I can!

Regarding Photos:
Please feel free to use the photos I've uploaded for any non-commercial purpose, unless otherwise noted (this would only be the case if I've received the photo from someone else and they have different sharing guidelines. It would be stated in the description of the photo if it shouldn't be shared.) If I've included the name of the person I received it from, I ask that you please give this person credit for their photo if you add it to your family tree/site/etc.

Most of my family lives in the Wisconsin/Minnesota areas. Among the names I am tracing are Oppelt, King, Duchane, Miller, Hymer, Stebbins, Huffman, Silvers, and Groshong.

Ref the info here. Clarence's mother was Louise Hoffman Schulte. Frances was his step mother. Clarence was my uncle. If possible would you make the correction. Thank you for posting this, We lost contact with his family many years ago. I have tried for a long time to find his 2 children. Always hoping they come across this site.

Thanks again.

RE: Verick family
Hi Sarah, There are quite a few Kuckucks in the cemetery that are also related (one is a Koeninger). I'll go through my book at home and email you their names and memorial numbers. Thank you again! You did an amazing job on all the memorials.

Verick family

Would you consider transferring ownership of the following Verick family:

#104392249 William "Willie" Verick
#104392446 Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Koeninger) Verick
#104392274 William G. Verick

Elizabeth Koeninger is my GG-Aunt.

Thank you,

RE: A Bernard Janney
Hi Sarah, OK, I do have a correction. I think Alfred Bernard Janney was married before he married Lila Gerke, thus the son who was born the same year as Lila, 1925. (He must have been thrilled to have a step-mother the same age) Anyway, her husband has to be the Alfred Bernard Janney born in 1906. As you figured out she must have divorced two times, the second was Alfred, as she had three husbands. Each of her husbands seemed to have had two wives, although I found only one wife for her last husband, but who knows??!!

Hopefully this clears up the confusion, but if not, contact me and I'll keep searching also.

Thank you for all that you do!!!
