Bio Photo Hi everyone. I am a wife, mom, grandma, china painter, family genealogist, and now a grave-hunter. My idea of exploring my roots just long enough to answer a couple of questions turned into a 5+ year long project that led me from Ancestry to Find A Grave.
I am happy to share these photos and information with you. If we're related please drop me a note and say hi!

Nathaniel Glasgow
RE: William David Glasgow
Hello and sorry for the late response! I actually have been doing a bit of research to figure out where W.D. and his sister Lucy fit into my tree. It has been puzzling me for some time. It seems that W.D. Glasgow was buried in the same small cemetery as some of my Glasgow ancestors, but I can't find any relation. There has to be one, though. The chance that two unrelated families ended up so close to each other is unlikely. Do you have any info on W.D. and Lucy's ancestors?

RE: William David Glasgow
It was my pleasure. Are you related to W.D. Glasgow somehow? I am.

It was my pleasure. James Ollie is my husband's second cousin. We were in town for the Grady reunion and had a few minutes before church so we stopped by the Kyler Cemetery. Next time we are in the area maybe I can find the rest of the Auten graves.

Edith Avarilla Pfenning
I first found out about Find-A-Grave after my father's death in 2012, and became a member less than 2 months ago.

Grandmother Pfenning was my mother's mother. You indicated "First cousin, twice removed" on her memorial, which makes us third cousins if my calculations are correct. I am named after her father. Any information you have on her ancestry would be appreciated, and I will share anything I have if you would like it.

Thank you.

You are very welcome!

My "exercise" these days is walking the cemeteries! I get a lot of it!!!

I am very close to Cherokee, so it is never a problem to find time to stop by for a few photos! And, I always look for family members when there are requests ... and, I only keep my own family!

If you have any others at Cherokee, please just send me an email! :)

RE: Andrew Naugle
Yes my 3 X Greatgrandfather David Henry Huffman married Sarah (SALLY) Naugle in North Carolina. They moved to Mississippi in 1847 with Sally's brothers William and Andrew and homesteaded on adjacent land. Sally's mother and 2 younger sisters lived with them.

No problem. Are you a Naugle descendent?
