Thanks for the link to the census. I take it that John was your ancestor. Is the 4th child's name Marie or Maria E? Strange to have a daughter named Mary and one named Marie. I will add the info to the memorial of Rebecca.

Thanks for the quick reply back but this morning I claimed all 10 requests and then printed out the list. So the person that added photos added them without looking prior to see if someone had already claimed them. I know that happens because I had done that one time myself. That is why it is highly recommended to claim the photos before you head out to the cemeteries. If the other person claimed the photos before me, then I could not claim them myself.
Like I said, it generally would not bother me but taking the time out of my day to drive to the cemetery with gas prices as high as they are, I would have hoped to at least add the photos I had claimed. Thanks again.

Hi Chris, earlier today I claimed all your photo requests (I believe 11 of them) for the Baker and Barr families at Evergreen. When I got home to upload the photos for you, I saw there were only a couple on claim page. I checked the ones I had claimed and see someone else added photos to the memorials some time today. This really is not the correct practice for Find A Grave. If someone claims the photos first (that would have been me), then they have the right to add the photos first. I am still going to add my photos so some of your memorials will have 2 identical photos (mine and the other person). It is up to you to delete one of them but all I am saying is that I had claimed them first. I generally don't get upset over stuff like this but this was a 20 mile drive for me and gas is not cheap. Hope you enjoy the photos. I also added some extra ones for the Barr family that were on the same family plot as John and Maria. Have a great evening......F.A.
Thanks again for pointing out the problem with Carney! I could never find any information on him, but after seeing the tombstone photo showing his name as Garney - a whole treasure load of information is now popping up about him! His true name is Garney Erastus Baker. Is this Garney a relation of yours?
