Hi, My 2x great grandfather is Isaac Smith, born 1841 and died 1918. You have created a duplicate memorial and spelled his name wrong without including his headstone. The original memorial is 35725677. Please add your notes to the original memorial. thank you for your time and service!

Welcome to Find A Grave.
The guidelines for making memorials are located on the left of any memorial under "help with Find A Grave". The purpose of the website is to record grave sites. One grave gets one memorial. Period. I know this is a problem when you come to this site in hope of recording your genealogy and someone else has already posted years ago a memorial for your ancestor. You can't duplicate the memorial but you can use the edit tab to add more information to the original one.
Thought this would help you as I observed, as well as other members, the many duplicated memorials you have made. They will be merged into the original one eventually.
I am deleting my memorial as it is a duplicate. You left this message on the memorial. The correct memorial is 39836037. Can you put your message on there?
He was a Civil War Veteran-Pvt., Co. "A" 3rd Batt'n. Ms. Inf. wounded in Action Nov. 30th 1864 at Franklin Tennessee, had his arm broken and back injured, Prisoner of War (he was in prison at the close of the war in 1865) Rest In Peace

I noticed that a memorial for this person had earlier been entered as John F ""JF"" Averett (#340017319).
So please add "Farquer" to that memorial and delete your duplicate entry.

I added headstone pictures for him and saw your note, thought I'd let a fellow Sailor know. Thank you for your service and for continuing to serve our nations Veterans.
All the best to you in your endeavors.

If the Trussells in the Blum Cem in Hill County, TX, are related to you, I'd be happy to transfer the memorials that I maintain to you. I am not related to them.

Thanks! Didn't expect you to write the names and info out. But appreciate the extra work. I'll check them out, I do believe some of the Wrights and Rogers are in my family tree. Several did come from Mississippi and enlisted there.

I added your pictures of the Harrell headstones to their Find-a-Grave memorial. It's helpful that you can contribute photo requests, but that request of 1,900 markers was absolutely very unreasonable!
In your Veteran book, is detailed info or bios included if known? Can you tell me if any of the following surnames are listed in your book?
|Kindred Ties||Thanks for pictures|
Thanks Jimmy for taking the headstone pictures of the James D Harrell, DDS and family.. It helps complete my genealogy tree. He was my grandfathers nephew.
Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request for Amber Evans. It's greatly appreciated.
