RE: John Riley and Nelson Riley
Hello Linda,
I put a copy of the clipping on Nelson's memorial for you. The picture and clipping is from the Carmi newspaper.
My wife's mother Florella was a Riley.

What happen to your John H Riley memorial? It was the best of the two.

Robbie Carnell Story
William Rushing
Hi Linda,
I'm quite sure that William Rushing is the s/o John D. Rushing and Louisa Ward of Benton Co., Tennessee. John D. is my 4th great. After John D. died Louisa moved with several of her children to Illinois. My notes read: Louisa moved with her son Francis to Williamson Co., Illinois in 1863. Other members of the RUSHING family making the move were: Eliza NEBOR (widowed), Mary Caroline NEBOR and husband James, Robert Anderson and family and Francis Luther (son of George W. RUSHING). William Henry came several years later. If we connect, I'd like to hear from you.

RE: James Monroe Davis (Union Cemetery)
Linda,

Would you be willing to share the obit you have for James Monroe Davis? My great great grandfather was John Monroe Davis, born 1836 in Anna, Union County, Illinois, and I'm wondering if they are related. It seems reasonable, given the middle names. There are so many Davises in the area. I went out there in October to look for graves and vital records. It was a fun fact-finding trip. You can email me at amy_harbor@yahoo.com

I'm really glad you sent this message. Actually your e-mail was put in spam so I "unspammed" you and saw the tombstones. Wonderful--and thank you!

Linda - Thanks for letting me know. No wonder there are so few photos with the different memorials.
