Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have done our family's histories since I was in high school (over 30 years). Love going through cemeteries & finding relatives, friends or graves for others. I saw FindaGrave years ago when it was new and not much on it and none of my family. I happened upon it again shortly after my Dad passed way. I'm hooked!

I hope that my entries aide you in finding your family. Any photos I have posted are gifts - free for family or friends to use as you please for non-commercial purposes. However, do not duplicate a memorial on FindAGrave & use my photos as I have seen happen. I would be happy to transfer any of your relative's memorials I have created that are unrelated to me. I'd prefer they be with someone in their family or someone with a connection to complete a more fitting memorial!

I'm human, I make mistakes. If you find some, please use the edit button on the memorial to advise me. Patience is a virtue - I am not retired and have young children, but will address emails as soon as I can.

***[April 20, 2013] Please bear with me on corrections, etc. At this time we are cleaning out my parents house, updating & preparing to sell. This is taking the majority of my free time right now so I'm getting behind on requests. We're hoping to have this phase completed by June 1. I usually try to get no further than 3 days behind, but please give me a couple of weeks for the time being.***

A special THANK YOU to those who visit my family. I TRULY appreciate it - it means the world to me:

~♥♥♥~ My beloved father & hero James Robert Hoffman passed away February 16, 2012 ~♥♥♥~

My cousin Francis Nicholas Hueben, still MIA after being shot down over New Guinea during WWII.

My cousin Donald Michael Willy, killed in Okinawa, Japan in WWII.

*~* MY SPECIAL FINDS: *~*
After 30+ years of research, I finally found:

My GG-Grandfather Gustave "Gus" Werner in May of 2012 as well as his twin baby girls and 2 more of his baby granddaughters. I didn't even know about the 4 babies! (thanks to FindAGrave & J F-B)

My GGG-Grandparents Joseph Newby and his wife Letitia Hastie (Dark) Newby in August of 2012 (good old fashioned research).

Another GG-Grandfather William Lewis Horn found March 6, 2013 going through old funeral home records.

~ My Projects: ~

I'm currently working on photographing & documenting burials in (primarily) 4 Wyandotte County, KS cemeteries:
- Mount Hope (About 3/4 done) All memorials from the cemetery records are posted, but lots of pics left to post. I had 5-600 photos added to my memorials without being told. I am currently going back through and updating so bear with me there.
- Quindaro (About 1/4 done)
- Woodlawn (just getting started)
- Oak Grove (a friend is just getting started)
(I can also do look-ups on these.)

I also do some work in Memorial Park, Highland Park, Chapel Hill, Mount Calvary, Woodlawn & Oak Grove.

My intent is to get the information up from the stones & records for those that haven't found the burial spots of their loved ones and to preserve information from these stones. In most cases, I do no research on the memorials.

Wow - I'm so impressed, humbled and inspired by all that you have done and continue to do on Find-a-grave! Thank you.
I'm thrilled you posted photos for the David Nave family (#92703836). Would it be OK with you if I post your photos, with credit, to my Ancestry.com family tree?
Thanks,
Sue

Undertaker's Gr-Granddaughter
RE: Dunfee @ Green Ridge
I claimed Sarah Bennett with her husband Arthur Bennett. Also in the plot is Ruth (no last name) and Nola Barrow. To there right are Harriet and Harold & Ernestine Briggs. There headstones match Sarah's. :o)
