RE: Strout headstone
Pam,
Thanks for getting back to me so soon. If you wouldn't mind checking for other Strout's at Howe's Corner, I would definitely be interested and grateful. I do have Fred, Ida and Harry listed there with Charles. I am still trying to make the connection, but have been bogged down at work, so I had to break away from my favorite hobby, plus I have several Charles in my tree, but now I have a middle initial, thanks to the photo that you took.
Gratefully,
Donna

RE: Strout headstone
Hi Pam,
Thanks for photographing the memorial and placing the STROUT headstone photo on the memorial page. By any change, was there an inscription on the back of the stone? I am still putting together the puzzles and Charles's family is still a mystery. Your time and kindness are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Donna

Hi Pam,
I took my picture Saturday but couldn't get to the computer until Monday to post it. We must have stood in the same spot when photographing this headstone as they look quite similar.

I don't want to be a cry baby, but due to a vision impairment I can't drive and it's hard for me to find these headstones. If you don't mind I would like to put mine up. I would gladly appreciate it. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful note.
Best wishes,
Marian

Good Morning, may we please use your picture in our family tree? She is my fourth great grandmother, and adding her headstone picture to her record would mean a lot. Thank you so much for considering it. S

Rines
Hi Pam,

I just realized you had added a photo to Walter Rines Jr's memorial and wanted to stop by and thank you. He and Jeanette share a stone (mem # 111742645 ) if you'd like to add the photo to her's as well. Thanks again!

No rush. I'm just thankful for all you have done. I just wish I was there to see the entire cemetery for myself. We do not have any stones as old here in Alabama. They use to use sandstone. All the names have wash off over the years. We have old cemeteries with nothing but rocks and no names. Most dated stones only go back to 1890's at the earliest. That is why I so greatiful for your pictures. They are the oldest in my family tree now. God Bless!
