RE: Aldrich family
My direct email address is sally.scheer@villagecorner.com and I'd love to correspond. Cyrel came to Wisconsin after 1850, just after his marriage to Jane Ann Carpenter. Have you traced your Aldrich family in the Aldrich books yet? That should help get us closer to the relationship.

Aldrich family
I have Aldrich ancestors in Wisconsin (Walworth County) who came from New Hampshire in the 1850s. Cyrel Round Aldrich m Julia Ann Carpenter in 1850 and then came west to Wisconsin. Does your family intersect with mine?

Wilton Cemetery
Don, just browsing for Wilton cemetery references & note the comments to you regarding the old stones placed near the Wilton entrance. True, they had been stacked near the old maintenance shed, but they'd been picked up years ago when the cemetery was cleaned up & old fences removed, etc. I don't think they had the money to try to re-set or restore them, so they were moved for ease of mowing. As Laurie noted, they're generally not readable. //Joanne
