I'm enjoying the adventure to uncover my ancestry. I'm just beginning the cemetery portion of the adventure, and so much wonderful history is beginning to unfold. I've always been drawn to fictional/historical military books and movies; so I was so surprised to find all the heroes right in my own family. We've got something from every war clear back to the revolution. My maternal and paternal grandparents all completed the trek to the west coast, but I'm hoping to trace the trek backwards to the east coast with each stop our families made over the last 350 years. My German ancestors began in New York (mid 1800). The colonial ancestors hail from Virginia via S.C., Tenn, KS, and MO. If you happen to read this and know anything about the Heugonots in Manakin, VA (Goochland Co.) The Draper and Graves clan are my descendants from that area.

Leue family
Laurie, I am trying to locate a lady named Judy Leue, her maiden name was Hicks. Judy is related to me and I would like to contact her. It has been about 10 years and I have lost phone and email for her. I believe she lived in the north west US when I had contact via email with her. Beverly at gbshenold@provalue.net

RE: Memorial# 35984697
Hi Laurie,
I'm sorry to say that I have no way of knowing if this is your relative. I do not have access to any research for the Ponca City, OK area. I live in Wichita, KS and do not get down to Ponca very often.

Take care
Judy

Laurie, I claimed your request and will get over there Wednesday or Thursday. I just wanted to say I knew Dorothy and she was such a wonderful lady. I sit in front of Ed each Sunday in church. Joanne ljhugheys@yahoo.com

When you posted the photo of his tombstone, it posted twice. You might want to delete one of them.

Laurie,

I have correct the memorial page for Jess Wade. The tombstone says...Jess M. Wade. Good catch on my error. Thanks

Must have been a typo as the informant was a John Phillips, could have been a son as the father-in-law was already deceased.
