RE: Memorial for James T. Marriott
M. Craig, thank you for you message. I do not know the correct spelling ... this information was collected from a cemetery that was cleared by the state and was only available for a short time for research. I photographed these headstones and posted them for possible genealogy searches. I did go to the link that you posted but was unable to ascertain if this was the same person. Thank you again for your diligence. Mrs. C.E. Ford

Hawkins Memorials
I was looking at several Hawkins memorials and saw your name on several pictures submitted. I was wondering if you are related to Murline Craig?

RE: Bledsoes
You are very welcome. Thanks for taking the time to call Montlawn. That makes it so much easier for the volunteers. MA

Bledsoes
Hi, My friend, husband and I looked for the Bledsoe gravesites for quite a while today. First, Nile and Glovenia are buried in Section 4, not Section 12. Second, Owen is buried in Hollywood, not Section 12. That said, we could not find stones for these three folks. Please check with the cemetery and if they don't have stones, please delete the requests so that no one else goes looking for them. Your thoughts? MA

RE: Nile Bledsoe
Hi, I am wondering if you incorrectly typed the number for Owen. On the section map the numbers go from 1 to 222. Your thoughts? MA

Hi, Montlawn is a huge cemetery. As you are requesting a photograph of a grave marker, please contact the cemetery at (919) 772-1073, find out the plot information and add it to the memorial page. Thanks, MA

If you call the cemetery and tell them that your "close" family member is buried there, they will give you the lot number. Once you have that, you can request a photo. They only give
the information to a family member.

It is a large cemetery and most volunteers require a grave location.

Good luck,
M

In my database is one more Stickel.

Hiram Albers Stickel, the brother of Wm. H. was born 1 Jan. 1916, bapt. 14 July 1920. (DC Genweb)

In WW2, he was in the Seabees. He is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Prince George's County and needs a memorial but I did not
have a death date. Perhaps you might want to see what you can locate and add him?

Hope this helps,
Margaret

You are most welcome. There is an impressive bit of info. for the family in Western Md. I will update my records and do a print out for my "cousin" who is the sister of Mary DeMarr Stickel.

My own mother, her mother's cousin is 102. It is funny that they never were acquainted (due to location and transportation at that time). Both of them really enjoy the information that I am locating and sharing with them.
