No problem. There were several Multin's in this lot as well that I put in too.
Thank you so much for all the information, I added it to his memorial page.
It was very informative...I guess they are not the
Hartman's I was looking for since as I learned from
what you sent me that Hartman was not their original surname.
I really appreciate your taking the time to look the up and to send it to me.
Did you get my private email?
If not, let me know, and I'll try to get it to you!

I'm astonished at your info!
Are you related? Or a general researcher into this area? We have very little on them before they came to America.
This does seem to fit. Just checked the shtetl link for Vabalninkas, and I see a location name Panevezys, and that name Panevezys was on some of their ship records, though it was badly mangled on those records of course. (And now I see that in your info too, Panevezys that is.)
I see for Sava that the family name was recorded as Rode, and I wonder if that was perhaps in a damaged area of the marriage record? Because for one of the witnesses it says Broide, which was her name in family info. I'm sure this is the right family because on her death cert, her father's name was recorded as Barney, and her mother as Tillie, both of which are close to the original records in Lithuania, Baruch and Tauba.
I'm very grateful that you sent this information! Will be passing it along to another of the cousins who is also very interested in this.
Many thanks for taking the time to do this, it's very valuable!
