Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have only been at this a few years and find that being a detective is a wonderful challenge.

I am looking for Cincinnati-based Wiehe, Jentz, Kroger/Kroeger (not the grocery store family), Budke, Rundy and Linne. Also, Brown County-based Watson.

I am having quite a challenge with the Linne/Kroger bunch. Just not much documentation and very few family to go to for leads.

Many of my entries are not my family, so let me know if you are interested in a transfer.

Permission is given to copy any of my pictures.

Have a wonderful day searching under headstones for family.

I have added the note but I have no idea why I added the record. I will revisit the plot.

Please check Brookside Cemetery in a few minutes. I am adding additional Shurte family members. He was buried in a family plot in the cemetery.

Anton J. Kroger
1. I believe the record for Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Society is in error.

2. It seems strange that the date of birth and date is the same except for the year. I know this is possible but I doubt it on this one.

3. His wife's record for the Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Society is:

Cemetery: St. Joseph
Last Name: Kroger
First Name: Maria G
Gender: F
Died: Mar 11, 1872
Funeral Date: Unknown
Born: Unknown
Age: 78 Years
Section: 4
Lot: 12
Grave: 6
Processed: Y
Id col: 396
Servno: 34405
Sertype: B
Pidno: 34405

The Cincinnati City Directory shows the following:

Anton Kroger

Residence Year:

Street address:
1 Pine

Residence Place:
Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Publication Title:
Cincinnati, Ohio, City Directory, 1862

I would go for the dates on the grave marker. The marker I took a picture of looks more like the 1800's than the 1900's.
