I became interested in genealogy after I retired. Thanks to Find A Grave, I found my Great-Aunt who was buried in Anderson County, SC who I never knew lived in the same city as I lived but at a different time.

I am currently researching the following families: Bess, Beam, Bell, Register and Urie. Most of these families have roots in North Carolina and Florida.

I enjoy taking photos and enjoy sharing the photos I have taken. Please feel free to use my photos in any genealogy use.

If you would like to suggest a correction or provide additional information, please use the edit tab on the memorial page.

I will glad to transfer Memorials to those with closer relationships upon request.

Barbara, thank you for all you do for Find A Grave and thanks for permission to use your photos on my Ancestry and Family Tree Maker files. Since I cannot visit cemeteries it means so much to be able to see the grave markers and put them on my files. I really appreciate your giving of your time and efforts to help make Find A Grave possible.
Thank you again.

Hi, you wrote me saying that Ray Sammons was born in Fair Play, Oconee Co., SC. Do you have any documentation to confirm this? I have them living in Anderson Co., SC from 1910. Let me know what proof you may have. Thanks, Bobbye Varner

Rossie Lamar
Hi Barbara,

I'm not related to your lines, but someone transferred the burial to me since I had additional information on the McClimon side (not related) and there was someone (can't remember who) that said Rossie was not married to McClimon, but I found their marriage record and connected them.

If you don't want the record, just transfer back to the original owner.

Bob
