I retired in 2010 & got into taking photos of cemetery headstones just this year. It was overwhelming at first, but now I love it! If my kids can't find me at home, they'll call to see if I am "bothering the dead"! :)
One thing I try to do when I am taking pictures of requested headstones is try to get as many family members that are buried nearby with the same last name. So when I post a pic, check to see if I have posted more with the same name.
I have 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. I'm busier now than when I was working, but it's things I love to do. I love genealogy, taking photos, paint-by-numbers, scrapbooking & volunteering for my church. | |
