Declined Edit
Hi. You sent me an edit for Lois Lewis' birth date to be March 27, 2009 - probably a typo since she died May 1, 2009 at the age of 86. Please resubmit with correct date. Thanks.

Nellie Mae Baldwin
Nellie Mae was my great grandmother. Yes there is an Eastwood Connection, through George Eastwood. It goes like this: Nellie Mae Baldwin, her mother was Eliza Jane Murdock; Eliza Jane was married to John Eastwood, then to John Baldwin. Eliza Jane and John Eastwood had a son named George Eastwood, whom my mother remembered him when he came to visit them in Portland. He was born 1877 Clitherall, Otter Tail Minnesota and died 1959 Douglas, Minnesota. Hope this helps.

RE: Mangan/Murray Family
Oh this FindAGrave messaging is a pain----I was going to refer to your message, but now I can't see it when I type my reply......

Do you happen to have a tree on ancestry or online somewhere that I could look at to compare? I had a question about one of the Mangans marrying a Kane------I think someone else had Mary Ann Kane married to one of the Mangans and that made me curious because my 2nd great married a Mary Ann Kane.

If you want, please use my email: it might be easier to communicate......

I think if I remember right that some of your Mangans may have also lived in Lambertville, NJ and/or Lawler, Iowa??

Mangan/Murray Family
Hi Diane,

I saw your name on the findagrave site for John Mangan. I was wondering if you are a descendent or relative? My 2nd great grandfather was Thomas Murray, Ella Murray-Mangan's father, and I was looking to find more information on the family. I'm working with another cousin who brought the name Mangan to my attention-----the Murray family is in Lambertville, NJ in the 1800s with the Mangans and both families are from Roscommon.

My family line is from Andrew Murray, Ella's oldest brother.

Thanks, Sue Oliver

RE: Willard Mangan
OK, it's posted. But it went on top so you can shuffle it underneath. I do not have his wife's side since I was just walking by and noticed the wreath with Willard's side in sun. I can go and take her side next time I go if that's OK. It looks like there's space for a photo on hers. A few of us gravers are working to increase the percent photographed at Fort Snelling which means taking lots of random photo in hopes that people would like it on their memorials, so I do appreciate that relatives like you are OK with it. So you're welcome, and thank you too.

RE: Willard Mangan
Oh Good! Do you want me to wait for you to sponsor or you can take one photo off temporarily?

Willard Mangan
Hi Diane, I was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery and took a photo of his headstone with the nice Memorial Day wreath. Most of the memorials here have no photos so I take photos of some when they are in perfect light with nice flowers/decorations. I saw there was no room to post the photo so I figured I'd ask if you'd want it rather than just deleting it. If not I'll just delete, no problem.
