 | RE: Pitcocks Riverview Cemetery Valdosta Georgia Mr. Hightower, you made my day! You would not believe how coincidental all this happened... I had just this morning told my manager at work that I was going to need to take a vacation day soon because I wanted to go to Valdosta to take cemetery pictues and gather information for my relatives there... I had checked F-A-G for John and Alice Pitcock before and they weren't there. I don't know what made me check again but wow...there they were! I saw where you had added them just mere days ago. And the other coincidental thing is that John Pitcock's parents and some of his siblings are buried in Riverview Memorial Gardens, but the Riverview in Fayetteville, Tennessee. I will probably still go to Valdosta one day soon because I want their obituaries, etc. but the pictures you added to their memorials and the transfers for sure made my day. You are a wonderful person and a credit to the F-A-G community. I will hold you in the highest esteem forever!
With many thanks from me and my family,
Michael Pitcock Fayetteville, Tennessee | | | Alton Christie
 | Josephine "Josie" Murry/Murray Ed, I'm searching for a Josephine Murry that married Homer Albritton. They had 2 daughters, Pearl Albritton b. abt Jan 1897 and Gussie Albritton b. abt Feb 1898 (based on 1900 census records). Homer is buried in the Oak Grove Bapt. Church Cemetery in northern Columbia County, Florida. "Josie" was b. abt 1874 and probably died young in childbirth. Does this name show up in your Murry/Murray research? | | | Alton Christie

 | Blakely -Fender (Jenkins) Cemetery Ed, Thank you so very much for the photos and for the information regarding the Jenkins section of Fender Cemetery. The information that I posted came from a source about ten years ago and no mention was made of there being a name for this section nor that it was separately fenced. I will certainly revise the description in accordance with your suggestion. Thank you again for everything. Jackie | | | | [View all messages...] |
