RE: Henry Walter
It can't hurt to send. But I am pretty sure it's not there. Or it's buried, maybe(?).

RE: Henry Walter
Hi LReid,
Unfortunately, I too have been stumped as to Henry Walters' burial place. I did put some effort into finding it. To no avail. Sorry. :(

RE: George W Delaney

I did not make the link with parents. The link was present when the memorial was transferred to me.

I would love to work with you to find the right connection.

I am not sure if I am related to the Clinton County Delaneys. I grew up in Moberly which is in Randolph County, MO.

The little bit of research I have done since I received your letter does not confirm the connection in the link. I will continue to work on this.

Let me know if you have any more info.

RE: Benjamin McPheter
No, I'm not related, just a historically minded citizen of Meade County trying to document as much as I can! There are still McPheters here in Meade County, and I probably posted the obituary because I had done some research for someone else. I have to work the next two days, so it will probably be Thursday before I can get back with you, but I think I can connect you with some others who are researching this family. Janette Friesen

RE: New Hope Baptist Church
I do not know about any records for the New Hope Church but a good research place would be the Depot in Stilwell which houses the Adair County History and Talbot Library and Museum in Colcord. On Wednesday at Talbot they have an excellent researcher working. There is a lady from Jay, OK who is researching the Masters Family also. My husband had family ties to some of them who were from Newton County in Arkansas. There is a lady living in the New Hope area who is very knowledgeable about local history. You might call her. If interested let me know.

William & Eliza Hurd
Family story is Eliza died of a long illness and just after she died William had a heart attack. They were buried together in the same grave.
