This is a very large cemetery with all flat markers. If you could call the office and find the location of this burial we would be glad to look for it. We can only ask for three locations without being charged. 740-452-2236

|Mary Ellen Hermann||RE: Hello Mary Ellen|
Philip Carpenter is actually the 3rd Great grandfather of Robert L. Finch who grew up in Oswego, New York.
Here is his line:
Philip Carpenter (1765 - 1836)
3rd great grandfather
Cynthia Carpenter (1811 - 1887)
daughter of Philip Carpenter
Roxanna Elmer (1842 - 1903)
daughter of Cynthia Carpenter
Frederick Foster Glassford (1879 - 1941)
son of Roxanna Elmer
Mary Agatha Glassford (1913 - 2004)
daughter of Frederick Foster Glassford
Robert Lynn Finch
son of Mary Agatha Glassford.
Robert has been trying to get the line together to join the SAR. Are you anywhere near Brownsville or Jefferson County, New York? We need to prove the connection that Cythia Carpenter was the daughter of Philip Carpenter.
What is your connection to Philip? Do you follow any of Robert's line? Cynthia, Philip's daughter married Johnathan Elmer. Their daughter Roxanne, married Benjamin T. Glassford. Thier son, Frederick Foster, was Robert's grandfather. Robert remembers him well.
It would be easiest, so please reply to:
Nice to hear from you!
Mary Ellen and Robert Finch.

I cannot be certain about the location of Margaret J Dover's grave. It might be in the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth (#109655325).
His father might be William A Dover (#46335124) buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Caddo Mills, Tx.
I really don't know if these are Gover's parents. I hope that you can find something that might nail it down.

I have worked the cemeteries in this area for 19 years. I have never heard of one. There again is one in Chillicothe, Portsmouth, Frankfort and Nelsonville.

You created a Greenlawn Cemetery for Frederick, but there is no Greenlawn Cemetery in Pike County, Ohio. There is one in Ross County ,Ohio.

You are welcome and, by the way, scary picture of you!

My great-grandmother was Amanda Howell Kennedy Wells. Her father was Abner Howell of Guernsey County....

Wanted to let you know that I transferred Floyd to you. I too connect through the Howells of Muskingum and Guernsey County, Ohio....

No, I don't know them. I'm just a volunteer trying to make a dent in the new National Cemetery. They are burying them faster than our little group of volunteers can document! We keep hovering at 42% of the cemetery photographed... So I did Mario and Leah's and send the edits of info I learn to whomever is managing the memorial. You!
I am searching for Combs, thank you! Sadly, it's a very common name! But if your friend wants to contact me, I'm happy to share what we have so far! Thank you!
